01
Nature of the Work
All works offered through Milton Wes Art are one of one original compositions produced on archival museum-quality aluminum by Harlem artist Corey Wesley. Each work is singular. No edition, reprint, reproduction, or duplicate of any listed work will ever be produced, offered, or authorized by Milton Wes Art.
The works in the Unapologetic Faces: The Cost of Being Seen series are original artistic compositions — not photographs of identifiable individuals. They are the product of Corey Wesley's proprietary creative process, fully owned, solely authored, and exclusively controlled by Milton Wes Art.
Every work ships professionally framed and ready to hang. The framing is selected to complement the aluminum surface and arrive installation-ready. No additional materials are required upon delivery.
All sales are final. By completing a purchase, the collector agrees to all terms on this page in full.
02
Acquisition & Payment
Listed prices are in USD and are firm. Milton Wes Art does not negotiate, discount, or reduce the listed price of any work under any circumstance. Payment in full is required at checkout unless a payment arrangement has been expressly agreed upon in writing prior to acquisition.
Payment Arrangement — By Request Only
50% due at reservation · 50% due before shipment · Hold period: 14 calendar days maximum · Offered at sole discretion of Milton Wes Art · Creates no precedent for future transactions.
All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure payment infrastructure. Milton Wes Art does not store or access collector payment card information.
03
Shipping & Insurance
All works ship within 7 to 14 business days of full payment confirmed. Every work ships fully insured to its declared retail value using professional art packaging. Shipping is available within the continental United States. International and non-contiguous destinations require prior written agreement.
Risk of loss transfers to the collector upon confirmed delivery. Milton Wes Art bears no liability for loss, theft, or damage following confirmed delivery. Refused or undeliverable shipments due to collector address error remain the collector's financial responsibility.
04
All Sales Final
Milton Wes Art does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for any reason. Because each work is a one of one original, there is no equivalent substitute and no basis for exchange. The collector is solely responsible for reviewing all images, dimensions, and material information prior to purchase.
Variation between a work's appearance on a digital screen and its in-person appearance does not constitute a defect. A collector who believes a material misrepresentation has occurred must contact Milton Wes Art in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery. This process does not guarantee any remedy.
05
Certificate of Authenticity
Every work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Corey Wesley, identifying the work by title, dimensions, medium, and date. The certificate ships with the work. Upon acquisition, each work is permanently archived within Milton Wes Art's collector record — documenting provenance, acquisition date, and collector ownership.
The collector is solely responsible for safeguarding their Certificate. Replacement requests may be considered at Milton Wes Art's discretion for a documentation fee.
06
Damage in Transit
In the event of visible transit damage, the collector must: photograph the damage and all packaging materials, contact Milton Wes Art at support@miltonwesart.com within 48 hours of confirmed delivery, and retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved.
Milton Wes Art's sole obligation is to facilitate the insurance claim process. No replacement, reproduction, or refund will be issued. The outcome is determined by the carrier and insurer, not Milton Wes Art. Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be processed.
07

Milton Wes Art bears no responsibility for damage resulting from improper care or handling following delivery.
08
Intellectual Property
