Collecting

Why collect Milton Wes Art?

Each work is released as a one of one contemporary work from Corey Wesley's Harlem studio practice. Once acquired, it is permanently retired. No duplicates. No second edition.

Collector note: This is direct acquisition. When a work is placed, it is gone.
Do you provide proof of authenticity?

Yes. Each acquisition includes a signed certificate of authenticity suitable for collector records, insurance, interior design files, or hospitality placement documentation.

Is this considered collectible art?

Collectors value rarity, cultural relevance, and an artist's trajectory. Milton Wes Art is structured around limited availability and direct studio acquisition, with one of one releases from a Harlem studio practice with more than a decade of public creative work behind it.

Do you offer custom commissions?

No. The studio does not accept custom requests. All works are released as part of defined collections and are available for acquisition as listed.

Artwork & Materials

How is each work released?

Each work is released once, as a one of one singular piece. Once acquired, that exact physical work is permanently retired and will never be reproduced.

What materials and finishes are available?

Works are presented in two formats:

  • Aluminum works — archival museum-quality aluminum with a float mount and high-gloss finish.
  • Framed works — framed fine art, gallery-finished and ready to hang.

Every artwork page specifies the format and dimensions of that piece.

Why aluminum?

Aluminum gives clarity, durability, and structural stability. It intensifies contrast and holds its sharpness over time. The surface is luminous, so the piece shifts with the light in the room rather than sitting flat on the wall.

Are works ready to hang?

Yes. Every work arrives framed, gallery-finished, and ready to hang. Aluminum works include a float mount for secure wall installation.

Will the colors look exactly like they do on my screen?

Screens vary by calibration and brightness. Minor tonal differences are possible. Composition, contrast, and presence remain consistent with what is shown.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take to receive a work?

Works ship within 7 to 14 days of acquisition, with a certificate of authenticity. Tracking is emailed once the piece is on its way.

How is the work packaged?

Works are packaged to fine-art shipping standards, built to protect against corner impact, surface abrasion, and transit pressure. Packaging is matched to the format being shipped, and every piece ships fully insured.

What if my work arrives damaged?

Report damage within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the exterior packaging, the interior packaging, and the work itself. Email corey@miltonwesart.com and you will hear back within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

Returns & Policies

What is your return policy?

Because each piece is one of one, all sales are final. Returns are accepted only for damage on arrival or an incorrect item, reported within 7 days of delivery.

Can I exchange a work for another piece?

No. Exchanges are not offered, because each work is singular. If you want placement guidance before you acquire, contact the studio first and you will get it.

Care & Display

How do I care for an aluminum work?

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Avoid constant direct sunlight.

How do I care for a framed work?

Dust the frame gently. Clean glazing by spraying cleaner onto a cloth, never directly onto the frame. Avoid high humidity and prolonged direct sunlight.

Designers & Hospitality

Do you work with interior designers and hospitality projects?

Yes. The studio supports designer sourcing and hospitality placement with curated recommendations matched to the space, the scale, and the environment.

How do I start a designer or hospitality inquiry?

Email corey@miltonwesart.com with your wall dimensions, your installation timeline, and the mood you want the space to carry. You will receive a short set of recommended works and placement guidance, direct from Corey.

Collectors, interior designers, and hospitality buyers can inquire privately about available works, placement, and acquisition.
