Collecting Milton Wes Art
Why collect Milton Wes Art?
Each work is released as a one-of-one contemporary work from Corey Wesley's Harlem studio practice. Once acquired, it is permanently retired. No duplicates. No secondary editions.
Do you provide proof of authenticity?
Yes. Each acquisition includes a signed certificate of authenticity suitable for collector records, insurance support, interior design files, or hospitality placement documentation.
Is this considered collectible art?
Collectors value rarity, cultural relevance, and artist trajectory. Milton Wes Art is structured around limited availability and direct studio acquisition, with one-of-one releases from a Harlem-based studio practice with over a decade of public creative work.
Do you offer custom commissions?
No. The studio does not accept custom requests. All works are released as part of defined collections and are available for acquisition as listed.
Artwork & Materials
How is each work released?
Each work is released once as a one-of-one singular piece. Once acquired, that exact physical work is permanently retired and will never be reproduced.
What materials and finishes are available?
Works are presented in two formats:
- Framed works β archival fine art paper with professional matting and gallery framing.
- Aluminum works β high-definition aluminum with a modern float mount and crisp contrast.
Each artwork page specifies format and dimensions.
Why aluminum?
Aluminum provides exceptional clarity, durability, and structural stability. It intensifies contrast and maintains visual sharpness over time β ideal for modern interiors, collector environments, and design-forward spaces.
Are works ready to hang?
Yes. All works ship with appropriate hanging hardware or integrated mounting systems. Aluminum works include a French cleat mounting system for secure wall installation.
Will colors look exactly like my screen?
Screens vary by calibration and brightness. While minor tonal differences are possible, overall composition, contrast, and presence remain consistent with what is shown.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does production and shipping take?
Typical U.S. timelines:
- Production: 2β5 business days
- Shipping: 4β9 business days, depending on size and destination
Tracking is emailed once shipped.
How is the artwork packaged?
Artwork is packaged using fine-art shipping standards designed to reduce corner impact, surface abrasion, and transit pressure. Packaging is matched to the specific format being shipped.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
Report damage within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the exterior packaging, interior packaging, and the artwork itself. Contact support@miltonwesart.com and we will respond with next steps promptly.
Returns & Policies
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is released as a one-of-one collector work, all sales are final. Returns are accepted only for damage on arrival or incorrect items reported within 7 days of delivery.
Can I exchange for another piece?
Exchanges are not offered due to the singular nature of each work. If you need placement guidance before purchase, contact the studio prior to ordering.
Care & Display
How do I care for aluminum works?
Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. Avoid constant direct sunlight for maximum longevity.
How do I care for framed works?
Dust the frame gently. Clean glazing by spraying cleaner onto a cloth, not directly on the frame. Avoid high humidity and prolonged intense sunlight.
Designers & Hospitality
Do you work with interior designers and hospitality projects?
Yes. The studio supports designer sourcing and hospitality placements with curated recommendations aligned to the space, scale, and environment.
How do I start a designer or hospitality inquiry?
Email support@miltonwesart.com with wall dimensions, installation timeline, and the mood you want the space to communicate. You will receive a concise set of recommended works and placement guidance.
Collectors, interior designers, and hospitality buyers may inquire privately regarding available works, placement, and acquisition.
