Split in Silence — One-of-One Contemporary Artwork, Harlem NYC (24×36 Aluminum)
One-of-One • Signed • Archived Upon Acquisition
Split in Silence is a one-of-one contemporary artwork by Harlem artist Corey Wesley.
The work reflects a moment of internal division that emerges in silence—when reflection becomes unavoidable and the noise carried from other people’s fears, opinions, and expectations begins to compete with one’s own truth.
At its center is the tension between who we have been and who we are trying to become. One part of the self reaches toward growth, while another resists release, pulled toward what is familiar, comfortable, and easier to return to. The result is a study of self-confrontation, transformation, and the emotional cost of leaving old versions behind.
The aluminum surface delivers a sharp, controlled finish with reflective depth and strong wall presence. The work is scratch and fade resistant, mounted to an MDF wood frame, and designed to hang approximately 1/2 inch off the wall vertically or horizontally.
The work is signed and archived upon acquisition through Milton Wes Art and is positioned for collectors, interior designers, and hospitality projects seeking singular, narrative-driven artwork.
